The MOST AWESOME, AMAZING, FANTASTICAL PEOPLE IN ALL THE WORLD!!
Before there was a book, before there was a plushie, there was just a dream and a girl that does not EVER give up. I made handmade Whatif Monsters in 9 different colors to sell and raise money to manufacture little green monsters. I raised all the money I needed thanks in part to LOTS of help from the people below. Take a minute to reflect on their awesomeocity..... Done? Good, they totes deserve it.
Anyway, the monsters (1200) were made, and I had sold about 500 of my version when my book and my publisher, Kane Miller/Usborne Book's version of the plushie came out. So for right now, I am not selling any handmade ones OR my version. I may sell them again at some point, I mean dude, I have 800 little green monsters in my basement, I HAVE to, but for now, they cannot be bought.
All the people listed below have somehow supported the Whatif Monsters launch by donating money, pre-ordering a doll or just in general encouraging me to keep trying to make this work when I thought I should just check myself into the nearest hospital for a 'rest' - you know the kind I mean. I have the most amazing group of friends and family in the whole wide world. And I could not have done this without the FANTASTIC people below!
