April 15, 2015 Storytime Live at 7:30pm (eastern standard time)

Yesterday, because of a joke I was making with a friend about a simple kitchen butter knife I ended up creating an illustration – simply because it made me chuckle. I put it up online and people really responded to my little butter knife with a heart for others.

I decided to challenge myself and write the story down about the little butter knife who just wanted to spread love. In one day. To be read at Storytime Live tonight. (I have not, as of this moment in time, written one word or even thought through the story at all.)

I have no idea if I will be able to do it, if I will hit a wall and will fall short and have nothing to read live tonight, or maybe, perhaps, the little knife wants to tell me the rest of his story in a miraculous timing of events. (My characters don’t always cooperate with telling me their stories right when I want them to. So we shall see.)

As always, comment on this postΒ  for a chance to win a little bit of love from me to you!

Tune in tonight at 7:30pm by clicking here or on the illustration below to see if I found out the story behind the illustration…or not. πŸ™‚

  1. So excited to hear your new story!!! I hope you can get it done. Kailey and i will be there cheering you on from the couch!! πŸ™‚

  2. Hopefully we will be back from baseball in time to watch live, otherwise we will be watching the recording!

  3. I have a feeling this story is meant for me. I can totally relate to the knife. If I can’t have your original illustration I’m going to need a copy to hang at the front entrance as a show of solidarity with all the loving people in the world who don’t have all the answers. Love is all you need!

  4. I love it Michelle!! I can’t wait for storytime….and I am a fulfledged adult!! (With grandchildren!!!) lol

  5. Natalie, Scott and Maria look forward to another storytime tonight! They get very grumpy if we miss one!!

  6. Mrs. Michelle if you are stuck then tonight you can ask all the kids to write two sentence or more about the knife and then you can put them all together. Or the knife will hear so many good things about himself that he will tell his own story. You know just thinking, Love Michael

  7. This is just too funny! Hoping we are home in time to join tonight. If not, we’ll definitely watch the recording!

  8. I can’t wait to hear about the love that Herman is sharing! πŸ˜‰ Tristyn and Maleah said Storytime is there favorite activity of the week!
